This box pleated fit & flare dress has been crafted from a handwoven tribal Rabari shawl fresh off the loom from Bhujodi Village in Kutch, India. This shawl takes approximately 2-3 days to weave from a wool blend. After being woven, it is then beautifully hand embroidered.
The border is woven with golden threads and then hand embroidered with tiny mirrors and colorful threads. This work is done by Banjaran or nomadic women. The hem is finished with small handmade pom-poms.
The dress has a boat neck, pockets and a concealed zipper in the back.
The dress is 36 inches in length.
*PLEASE NOTE: This dress is hand embroidered and handwoven due to which the colour and embroidery of motifs on each dress vary which we believe lends to its exclusivity and beauty. The color of the actual dress may vary slightly from the images since the fabric is handwoven and two shawls are never the same.
Please note: This dress is now available in a similar fabric as in the last picture.
